Jo Redbird from Redbird ArtLab joined participants in our New Castle Intellectual Disabilities Services Day Program as part of our Artfulness program to create this incredible "Under the Sea" collaborative art project. 🌊🐠🎨

Working together, participants explored their creativity and imagination, with every contribution becoming part of something bigger.

Artfulness creates opportunities for participants to connect, express themselves and explore creativity in new ways.

🌎 They came from near and far and made Camp Fairlee feel like home.

As another summer camp season comes to a close, we’re saying a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Camp Fairlee counselors!

Counselors joined us from communities around the world, bringing their energy, talents and enthusiasm to Camp each day. Most importantly, they helped create a summer filled with friendship, new experiences, independence and plenty of fun for our campers.

To our 2026 counselors, thank you for an unforgettable summer and for being such an important part of the Camp Fairlee family. We’ll miss you! 👏

🍦 A sweet treat with an even sweeter story for !

Earlier this summer, The Ice Cream Shoppe in Wilmington visited our Adult Day Program for a birthday celebration hosted by one of our participant’s families. The experience made such an impression that when we invited them back for an end-of-summer ice cream social, they generously donated the experience and sweet treats for our participants to enjoy! 🍨

What an incredible day of connection, learning and support!

Nearly 350 caregivers joined us for yesterday’s Annual Caregiver Conference, along with more than 50 exhibitors sharing valuable resources and information for caregivers and families across Delaware.

This year’s theme, Taking Care of YOU, reminded us of something so important: caregivers deserve care, connection and support, too.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Heather Volkema, Client Success Manager at Trualta, for sharing her personal and professional perspective on supporting family caregivers, and to all of our speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and community partners who helped make the day possible.

🧡 Most of all, thank you to the caregivers who joined us. We hope you left feeling supported, connected and reminded that you don’t have to navigate the caregiving journey alone. 🧡

🎒 Starting the school year with connection, creativity and community!

We were excited to join the Delaware National Guard Child & Youth Programs for a special evening supporting Guard kids as they get ready for the school year.

Our team joined in the fun with bead bracelet making 📿 and our digital Tovertafel table, while connecting with families and sharing resources along the way.

Thank you to the DNG for inviting us to be part of an evening focused on helping children and families feel supported, prepared and connected. We loved being part of it!
