Rain couldn’t stop us!

Although last night’s event didn’t go as planned, we made the pivot over to Morris Jeff Park and it was still a success! The turnout was great, the energy was even better, and the kids had an amazing time, including a fun-filled egg hunt that they absolutely loved.

That’s what community is all about showing up, no matter what.

Early giving is now open and continues through May 5 Give NOLA Day, and we are inviting our entire community to join us in supporting the work we do year-round.

The Wellness Collective is a community-based organization committed to the growth, healing, and development of youth and families across the Greater New Orleans area. We create safe, engaging, and empowering spaces where young people can build confidence and skills through:

🎭 Arts & Culture Programming– dance, music, theater, and visual arts that strengthen creativity and expression
🧠 Health & Wellness Support – promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being
💼 Workforce & Entrepreneurship Development– teaching real-world skills in leadership, business, and financial literacy
🤝 Community Engagement– building strong connections between families, schools, and local partners

Through everything we do, our mission remains the same: to help young people thrive in life, not just in the classroom.

💛 Join us in person on May 5 for our Cinco de Mayo Celebration in honor of our arts programming! This will be a community celebration of culture, creativity, and the youth we serve. Families, supporters, and friends are all invited to come out and celebrate with us.

Yesterday, our team, alongside a few of our incredible young ladies—who are also dedicated Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy Algiers students—had the opportunity to participate in Love That Boot Week, making a meaningful impact right here in our community

Not only did we come ready to serve, but our girls also had the chance to work alongside and share this experience with Owner/Operator and sponsor of Chick-fil-A Algiers Leadership Academy, Sharah Triplett—a powerful moment of leadership, service, and inspiration in action.

From cleaning up our local park to connecting with other organizations, leaders, and city officials, this day was a reminder of what happens when purpose meets community.

At The Wellness Collective, we are always proud to be present in spaces like this—spaces where collaboration thrives, youth are empowered, and real change happens. These are the moments that shape leaders, build confidence, and strengthen the future of our city.

Together, we’re not just showing up—we’re making an impact.

Teen Career Camp at The Wellness Collective
Registration is currently ongoing through the NORD webpage.

Calling all teens ages 13–15! This summer, The Wellness Collective is partnering with NORD to host a Teen Career Camp designed to help young leaders explore real-world careers, entrepreneurship, and future opportunities.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities that build career awareness, leadership, and life skills, while learning how creativity, innovation, and business ideas can turn into real pathways.

Career exploration & leadership development
💡 Entrepreneurship and creative projects
🤝 Team building and mentorship
🍎 Breakfast & lunch provided daily
💰 Stipend provided through NORD

Best of all it’s FREE to participate, but teens must register through NORD to secure their spot.
