A place to stay. Meals taken care of. Purposeful spaces to learn together. Technology to connect beyond the room. Quiet surroundings and beautiful views. And great coffee close by!

These might seem like simple things, but they remove barriers to bringing healthcare workers together for meaningful learning.

That’s why the Learning Center exists. So that healthcare heroes can focus on the important stuff, sharing knowledge and building skills they can take back to the communities they serve.

If these tables could talk...
They'd tell stories of big (and some utterly bonkers) ideas, deep discussions, lots of laughter, lifelong friendships, countless cups of coffee, and partnerships that continue to shape LearnToLive.

In November 2024, the VERY FIRST event ever to be held at the LTL Learning Centre brought together frontline remote healthcare workers for a 2-day capacity-building workshop.
The response said it all: that this kind of practical, collaborative learning was deeply needed, and we knew early on that this was only the beginning of many more to come.

Recently, we welcomed another group of dedicated Puskesmas health workers to continue learning, sharing experiences and strengthening skills that support healthier communities.
The workshop was facilitated by a multidisciplinary team of experts, including: Dr Felly Kalesaran, Dr Bisuk P. Sedli, Dr Effata Polii, Dr. Victor Joseph and LTL Board Member, Ns. Ever Mario Lontaan.

Remember a few weeks ago, we shared footage of foundations being built for a new clean water system in Bango Village on Mantehage Island?

Well, just last Friday, we celebrated the official opening of that completely built water system!

But that wasn't the only reason to celebrate. The opening coincided with graduation day for senior students at Bango Elementary School, making it a double party for the community!

As students marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next, we also celebrated a project that will provide access to safe drinking water for years to come.

There was an overall sense of community pride, plenty of joy, and a few emotional moments as families came together to acknowledge both milestones.

LTL crew, including Rachel, Coco, Andrie, Aim and their families, were thrilled to be there alongside the incredible Mantehage community.

Managed by .morong and built with the support and hard work of local community members, the system is located at the school and accessible to all.
The water system design can be replicated in homes across the island.

Recently,, in the small fishing village of Pontoh, in North Minahasa Regency, we partnered with to deliver a health promotion session for 44 elderly community members, focusing on stroke risk, hypertension, vascular disease, and eye health.

What stayed with us most were the conversations, questions, and shared experiences throughout the day, a reminder that communities want healthcare that feels closer, more accessible, and more connected.

A new clean water system is being built with the people who will use it.

Preparation is underway, and things are moving along quickly thanks to LTL's legendary Andre on the ground, bringing his engineering expertise and a strong community-first approach.

Their time zones might be wildly different, but their mission is perfectly aligned!
Henry, Aim, Nick, and Yanti are spread across 3 continents, collaborating to bring the design finishes for the Learning Centre building to life. Much gratitude to all our flexible LTLers who go well beyond the "normal" working hours 💻✨

This , we’re celebrating the mentors, leaders, and nurturers lifting the next generation of women. 💛

Over the years, we’ve loved seeing so many clever and fierce LTL women grow into leadership roles. What’s even better is they now use their knowledge, platform, and support to help the next generation of women rise and become all they are meant to be.
