Hi Gems,

I wanted to let you all know that beginning June 15, the hours for jakes aesthetics will change.

The new schedule will be:
• Mondays: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesdays: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (No change here.)

So, there will no longer be Tuesday or Thursday appointments. Because of this transition, some of you who currently have Tuesday or Thursday appointments scheduled may receive a call from me requesting that we reschedule your appointment to another available day and time. I truly appreciate your flexibility and understanding as I make these adjustments.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, I want to take a moment to honor and celebrate those who have helped ensure that our freedom feels free. While the weekend often brings gatherings, travel, and celebration, it is also important to remember that Memorial Day exists to recognize and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

And if you’re staying in town this weekend but still need a little retreat, rest, or reset, I will be in the office and currently have plenty of appointments available today and Saturday. Whether you need skincare, self-care, or simply a quiet moment, come see me.

Hey Gems,

To me, it feels like the city, the state, the country, the world—are all on shaky ground right now. There is so much happening around us: war, political division and redistricting, inflation, and on and on. I refuse to look away from what is happening, but I would also be lying if I said it doesn’t weigh heavily on me.

This weekend feels like a good time to recover a bit. In New Orleans, we are in that little in-between season: Jazz Fest has wrapped, Memorial Day hasn’t arrived yet, and the official heat and pace of summer haven’t fully settled in. It’s a quiet little pause before the next chapter of the season begins.

If your mind, body, or spirit could use a reset, I have appointments available this weekend. Whether it’s skincare, self-care, or simply an hour to relax and reconnect with yourself, I would love to see you.
