Proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of 521 East Tremont, our new 213-unit affordable and supportive housing development! 🏗️✨

This future community will provide homes for income-eligible individuals and families, people who have experienced homelessness, and New Yorkers living with mental health concerns.

Thank you to our incredible project team — SLCE Architects, Mega Group, and Community Healthcare Network — and to the many funders and partners helping bring this vision to life, including TD Bank, NYC HPD, Richman Capital, KeyBank, Council Member Oswald Feliz, and Adrienne Adams.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this exciting milestone and support housing rooted in dignity, stability, and opportunity. 💙🏠

It’s simple: equal work deserves equal wages.

Despite this, nonprofit human services workers earn 30% less than City workers — for the same job.

📣That’s why we’re rallying to support Int 0452 (Wage Equity Legislation), which would help close the pay gap and advance for our workers.

By creating a new wage requirement system that aligns nonprofit and City salaries, Int 0452 goes beyond short-term fixes. It creates an entirely new system that supports wage equity for the long-haul.

and — pass Int 0452 now!

Final state budget negotiations are happening NOW. Governor Kathy Hochul and the state Legislature must prioritize supportive housing and include the additional $81.6 MILLION for the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) to support underfunded legacy projects!

Housing is a human right. We are counting on our representatives in Albany to protect our most vulnerable neighbors.
