Spent the day for an afternoon with wrote a poem about it. Found myself quite inspired by this “little” thing we call life.
What if it’s not about having to FIND the beauty in vetting but seeing the mundane and “ugly” in equal measure to that which we ogle over?
This. To me, is so beautiful.
Mundane

Mundane,
But not entirely insane —

Extraordinarrrr
I wonder if these people know
Their likeness here, immortalized
Ageless forever, quite the glow
Lens zoomed in, unscrutinized.
Thong riding High
T**s sunburnt
Cares not, for a why
I wonder if they know they’re frozen here mid-chew,
Ageless, embarrassed, and slightly askew.
Did they feel the click? The quiet theft?
A lifetime captured, nothing left.
Not interested at all
in what Beauty meant to you,
To me or them,
He saw something, to us anew.
He didn’t care for beauty’s coy disguise,
He wanted mustard stains and squinting eyes.
He left a legacy, making a pause, a self reflect
At the mirror of oneself,
Passing by — as we all do —
Until someone points a lens at you.
