on June 18 ,2011posting just for fun ( the folks in that large class said did reiki do that after the story about Dr Usui ( & me almost being stuck by lightning,( not its today's nature )((lights did blow out )
when I taught my Reiki 1 workshop at N.C.C.ollege yesterday the building got hit by lightning !!! everyone was fine so the students can say my new Reiki felt like I was hit my lightning !!!!! ( we had to move to a lower floor, where we finished the class)!Gigi Benanti Reiki Master ,( teaching there was a way to help reiki to me more mainstream)they were upset with me as I had some much stuff to take out & director had to come in the room, & ck on us ,I had to call to say ( sorry it was a misunderstanding )no one did not need light::::;but all was well .) we could not finish the class outside in the rain ,& the class could not be moved to my reiki/place .& we were able to finish it in a downstairs area ( with others staring at Us) thanks for special permission

Healing is my divine birthright; it is my way of knowing I am whole and complete in God no matter what may happen to my body or mind.

In prayer, I claim my healing and welcome divine life to flow through me. I release resistance, fear, and worry, trusting divine love is cleansing, restoring, and purifying me. I hold my caregivers and treatment team in the highest light, knowing that divine love and life flow through them, guiding their hands and informing their decisions.

Regardless of my bodily condition, I remain centered in God, never forgetting wholeness is the truth of me. With a grateful heart, I receive healing through the many avenues available, knowing divine love is the greatest healer.

Today I remember the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service. I take time to solemnly appreciate their dedication and commitment so I could have the freedoms I enjoy.
My remembrance and appreciation extends to those dear to me who have passed on. Through my memories, these special ones are still alive in me. Like a fire that never completely goes out, a glimmer of connection remains. Knowing their souls live on fills my heart with comfort.
I think of how I can use my time on earth to honor those who have served and those whom I have lost. I endeavor to live in a way that honors them, their unique qualities, and the inspiration they have given me to follow their example.
For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body―Jews or Greeks, slaves or free―and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.―1 Corinthians 12:13

Grateful is more than just an attitude or outlook. It’s the way I choose to live, and it colors everything I do.

When I’m washing dishes, I feel thankful for the meal I’ve just eaten. Called upon to help a friend, I give thanks I have resources and support to share. Spending time in nature, I am in awe of the beauty surrounding me and grateful for the enjoyment and restoration the environment gives me.

Every day, I make sure my first and last thoughts are of thanksgiving for blessings large and small. Doing this focuses my attention and primes me to find more and more reasons for gratitude all around me. I feel grateful as I discover the presence of God as beauty, kindness, grace, and joy.

I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.—Grateful
