We are thrilled to officially introduce The KidsConnect Loft! 🪜🏰

While it looks like a cozy, elevated clubhouse to our brave little explorers, this new space was intentionally designed to support deep therapeutic growth. High-level play offers incredible opportunities for kids to challenge themselves in a safe, controlled, and supportive environment.

When children step into the loft, they are actively building: Balance control & spatial awareness: navigating changes in height and uneven surfaces helps fine-tune how the body moves through space.
Gravitational security: for kiddos who feel anxious when their feet leave the ground, exploring an elevated space at their own pace with therapeutic support helps build trust, confidence, and a sense of safety in their own bodies.
Social engagement & shared joy: the loft naturally creates a collaborative "clubhouse" vibe. Whether it's peer-to-peer imaginative play, practicing turn-taking on the ladder, or sharing a cozy regulated moment with an occupational therapist or speech clinician, it's a magnet for building trust and connection.

As always, safety and emotional security come first. Every climb is child-led, co-regulated, and fully supported by our OT and Speech team to ensure it feels like a triumphant adventure.

Your Role & Impact
As a vital member of our interdisciplinary-minded team, you will:
Design and administer treatment plans that increase independence in ADLs, play, and feeding, and sleep.
Own Your Expertise: Manage a caseload that allows you to cultivate a niche in Feeding or Reflex Integration.
Address executive functioning and motor coordination through a neuro-affirming lens.
Coach families and create home programs to ensure success beyond the clinic walls.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Illinois License.
Experience: Candidates with Level II fieldwork experience in a pediatric outpatient setting or 1 year of general pediatric experience.
Clinical Interest: A strong desire to utilize or learn DIR Floortime, Feeding therapy, Reflex Integration, and Sensory Integration.
