Meet our 2026 INSPIRE Community Impact Award winner! Diksha Berebitsky, owner of Blissful Birth Initiations. 😍
---
This year’s honoree is a business that has made a meaningful and deeply personal difference in the lives of families throughout our region. Through compassionate support, education, and advocacy, she has helped parents navigate one of life’s most transformative journeys with greater confidence, calm, and care.
---
Rooted in a commitment to whole-person care and community-centered support, Blissful Birth Initiations offers doula services designed to uplift birthing individuals and families before, during, and after childbirth. The work she does extends beyond the delivery room—it strengthens families, builds knowledge, and fosters a deeper sense of empowerment during a pivotal life experience.
Diksha’s work reflects what community impact truly means: showing up consistently, providing education and emotional support when it matters most, and helping families feel seen, heard, and supported during one of life’s most significant milestones.
---
Diksha has been a doula trainer, doula, childbirth educator, and infant massage instructor since 2008. She has supported over 1,400 families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally inclusive care. She, herself, has personally attended and supported almost 600 families at their births!
---
Through both her direct doula work and her training program, she works to strengthen community care networks and improve outcomes for birthing families.
---
A core part of Diksha’s work is her commitment to training and empowering the next generation of doulas. Through education, mentorship, and ongoing support, she helps new doulas build confidence, develop strong practical skills, and grow sustainable practices so they can serve families with professionalism, compassion, and heart-centered care.
---
Her recent 2-year partnership with Washington Center for Women in Business provided dozens of individuals with 32 hours of training to state-certify them across the region!
