We know—this is the part of healthcare nobody likes to talk about.

Insurance coverage changes more often than most people realize, and sometimes without much notice or clarity.

So what can you do? These are a couple tips you can use to save yourself the stress of a surprise bill:

1️⃣ Before your appointment, call your insurance company at the number on the back of the card.

Ask: Is this provider covered under my plan? And: Is this specific visit/service covered?

Write down the name of the representative you spoke with, and the details of your call.

2️⃣ Bring your current insurance card to the office. Every time. Even if you aren't aware of any changes to your benefits.

📱 Digital overwhelm is real—but you don’t have to quit your phone to feel better.

For most of us, screen time isn't a simple matter of choice. Our workplaces and schools require computer use, and we can't just opt out.

So if you're tired of hearing the same old inapplicable advice about cutting down your tech time, let's set a new standard.
The goal isn’t “less tech.”
It’s better recovery from tech.

Here are 5 practical ways to reduce phone fatigue and digital overwhelm:

1️⃣ Create “no-input” moments between tasks
Before you open another tab, email, or app—pause for 30–60 seconds. Let your brain reset instead of stacking stimulation.

2️⃣ Turn your screen into a distraction-free zone
During work blocks, hide notifications, close extra tabs, and keep only what you need visible. Less visual noise = less mental load.

3️⃣ Give your eyes a mini break
Try the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Everyone has time for this, and the benefits are greater than you think.

4️⃣ Increase friction to decrease scrolling
Move social apps off your home screen, log out occasionally, or set a timer. Small barriers help interrupt autopilot use.

5️⃣ End your day with a digital downshift ritual
