Drowning can happen to any family. It’s quick, and it’s silent. Drowning is the single-leading cause of death among children aged 1-4, and a top cause of death among teens. We can lower these rates if pediatricians, parents and policy-makers work together to implement the types of solutions we know will keep children safe. Please share these resources with parents and caregivers. Learn more at www.HealthyChildren.org

Under a tires-up 4-wheeler, in a dry gulley in a pasture surrounded by 8-foot tall corn, a quarter mile from the nearest neighbor and “half-a-mile from nowhere,” lay a 64-year-old Daykin, Nebraska farmer. David Endorf was lucky to survive an ATV accident – read his story and find ATV safety resources here: https://tellingthestoryproject.org/david/

REGISTER NOW! 2026 Tractor & Equipment Safety Trainings are scheduled across the state. Certification from this course allows 14- and 15-year-olds to legally drive a tractor and do field work with certain mechanized equipment. Register at go.unmc.edu/tractor-safety-training!

Certification is earned by completing a two-day certification course, which includes a written test and a driving exam. Successful completion grants NSTMOP certification, allowing them to operate tractors and certain mechanized equipment on farms and ranches, and obtain a husbandry permit. Youth under 14 can attend Day 1 if accompanied by an adult, at no charge.

No Day 1 at your location? You can attend it at another location, or choose the online option!

🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the American Flag - a symbol of unity, resilience, and pride.

At CS-CASH, we salute the farmers, ranchers, and ag workers who keep our nation strong. As we raise the flag, let's also raise awareness for safety in the fields, barns, and beyond.

✅Safety is patriotic.
✅Protecting ag workers is protecting America.
