Meet Michelle, our PTA who specializes in pelvic health therapy! Here’s what Michelle has to share:
Pelvic health therapy is about helping people feel more connected, confident, and comfortable in their bodies again (or for the first time).
So many men and women struggle with things they think they just have to live with — leaking, constipation, diarrhea, pelvic pain, pressure, painful intimacy, low back or hip tension, core weakness, painful me**es, difficulty fully relaxing, or feeling disconnected from their body after stress, injury, pregnancy, surgery, endometriosis, PCOS, hypermobility, or other chronic conditions.
I help people understand why those symptoms are happening and teach practical, real-life strategies to improve function and quality of life.
That can include:
• breathing and pressure management
• bowel and bladder habits
• constipation support
• pelvic floor relaxation and strengthening
• core coordination
• movement and posture strategies
• nervous system regulation
• pregnancy and postpartum recovery
• support for hypermobility/EDS and chronic pain conditions
• tips to make everyday activities feel easier and less painful
Pelvic health is so much more than “just Kegels” or pregnancy. It’s about treating the whole person and helping people return to daily life feeling stronger, supported, and empowered — without shame around topics that are rarely talked about openly.
