The Backstory:

In December 2021, when we started The Cowford, we spent forever deciding on a name. We came up with gobbs of ideas, and some super clever ones,… but they were personalized.

We didn’t want a name that would personalize ourselves. We wanted a name that involved the entire community.

That name would end up being The Cowford. Dating back to the deepest roots of our area. If only the sand can talk.

So tomorrow, as we make our way to drop off milk, I want to thank those who make this all happen and keep this historical farm going, even though it has changed the way it’s looked throughout the years.
