Whether we are piercing your helix, tragus, conch, or rook…

The main tissue being pierced has no blood vessels of its own. It is simply the Perichondrium surrounding it that does. Which is why your new piercing can bleed. 🩸

Because all cartilage is avascular, that is exactly why cartilage piercings can take 6 to 12+ months to fully heal, compared to just 6 to 12+ weeks for your highly vascular earlobes!!

The cartilage piercings are worth it tho, baby them, treat them well during the healing time, and they will treat you well in return 💕
