In the face of long shifts and tough challenges, they always show up to provide comfort and preserve dignity.

It was a Happy National Donut Day at Patriot Health and Rehabilitation on Friday!

Friday, we celebrated more than just a sweet treat, we celebrated the simple things that bring us together. Originally created over a century ago as a symbol of care and community, at Patriot we believe there was no better way to start the day than with fresh coffee, delicious donuts, and great conversation.

Thank you to our amazing residents for making our community so special. It was a perfect time to grab a sweet treat and share a few laughs as they started their day.

Our residents brought their A-game!

We love seeing our therapeutic recreation and therapy teams get creative with activities. They had residents passing, moving, and playing a fantastic game of balloon volleyball that turned into a full-blown game.

It’s amazing to see the residents work on their mobility and coordination and having a great time all at once.

Who says you can’t have fun while building strength? Go Patriots Go!

Ready, Set, Roll Patriots, Roll!

We had an absolute blast as our residents teamed up with our amazing physical and occupational therapy team for an epic pass the baton Wheelchair Relay Race.

Thank you to our dedicated therapy team for keeping our residents active and engaged.

It’s moments like these that make every day special and show that recovery and wellness can be an absolute blast! You make it look like so much fun!

As National Nursing Home Week came to a close, we are reflecting on the beautiful week of connection and gratitude. To wind down, we had two amazing visitors Ms. Laura Brown and Ms. Betty Franks visiting Patriot Health and Rehabilitation, and we treated our hardworking staff to an appreciation lunch. Our amazing residents returned the love by presenting their gifts!

Every day, our team goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care to those who call our community home. Seeing our residents celebrate the staff who care for them perfectly captures the family-like bond we share at Patriot.

Thank you to everyone who made this week so special. A special thank you to the community that dropped off special treats for residents and staff to enjoy for the week. Here is to continuing to support and uplift one another!
