This is not an easy story for me to tell, but it is an important one.
I did not learn how to stop binge eating from a textbook. I lived with an eating disorder for 20 years.
I tried diets, exercise, therapy, moving away, relationships, and every form of control I could think of. I kept hoping that changing my body or my circumstances would finally quiet the obsession.
It did not.
My recovery began when I understood that I could not fix the problem by focusing only on food and weight. I had to change the way I lived.
I needed structure. Honesty. Boundaries. Responsibility. Trust. Spirituality. Better relationships. Healthier ways to manage my feelings. I needed systems that supported me when life became difficult.
Recovery gave me a life beyond anything I could have imagined when I was 14 years old and could not see a way forward.
Today, I have lived for more than 35 years without a binge. I have traveled, lived in Europe, learned another language, raised two daughters, changed careers, and become a doctor.
Now I want to be the person I needed back then.
I want women who are suffering to know they are not weak, broken, or alone. I want to share what took me years to learn so they do not have to search for the way out by themselves.
That is why I created the Life Shifts Weight Wellness System.
If you are tired of losing and gaining the same weight, fighting food, and promising yourself that tomorrow will be different, follow me.
There is hope. Your story is not over.
