When the CrossFit Games were in Madison, we had the chance to host the Finland team—the best in the world at what they do 🇫🇮
Over three years, we picked up a few lessons that stuck ⬇️
Lesson 1: They’re young, and they train, sleep, and eat like it’s their full-time job…because it is. They’re professionals. Just like I don’t judge my basketball skills against Giannis Antetokounmpo, I don’t compare myself to them—I respect the level of commitment it takes to operate at that level.
Lesson 2: Even with elite physiques, they still deal with doubt and fear. It’s easy to look at someone who’s “ripped” and assume they’ve got the world figured out. They don’t. They’re human—just like the rest of us, with their own challenges behind the scenes.
Lesson 3: Stop comparing your beginning to someone else’s peak. Their job is performance. Yours is progress. And progress, done consistently, beats intensity every time.
If there’s one takeaway, it’s this: Determine what progress looks like for you, then get started 🏁
You don’t need to train like a professional athlete to feel strong, capable, and confident 📢
If it’s been a while since you’ve felt like you again, reach out.
Let’s start with a simple conversation and take it from there 🤝
