Want to help, but not sure where to start? One of the easiest ways to help our mission is to make a tax-deductible donation. We also have a great online store where you can purchase NCCF apparel. All proceeds go directly towards our mission of Education, Outreach & Research. Not able to donate or purchase items? Share, share, share... Just getting the word out is a step in the right direction. Have questions? Reach out at www.wearethecure.org. We are able to continue the fight because of YOU. Together, We Are The Cure!!

Meet Grace, our 2026 Pink Paw Dogs Calendar feature dog for September!

Her story: "Grace was diagnosed with abdominal lymphoma, she had just turned 7 years old. This aggressive form of cancer took her from me within two weeks, before her chemotherapy could kick in. She was in pain and had severe gastrointestinal distress, but she never acted like anything other than brave and happy to be with me. She was my very best friend. I miss her every moment of every day.” ~ Sara F.

Often times the loss of a dog is misunderstood by friends and family who don't feel the same about pets as you do. Well meaning comments are sent your way, but land wrong because many people just don't know what to say. This leaves you feeling hurt and alone when you need a shoulder to cry on and someone to understand just how much your dog has meant to you. There is a term for this - Disenfranchised Grief.

Read more about it on our Coping with Loss page:

Today is RAINBOW BRIDGE REMEMBRANCE DAY! A day to remember all the great things about the special four legged angels that watch over us from afar. We may no longer see them, but they are always with us in our hearts and our memories. 🩷🌈🩷
