Community Care Rx was proud to be a sponsor at the screening of Under the Lights with EPIC, an inspiring and thought-provoking film that brings awareness to the experiences of individuals living with epilepsy.

What makes this film especially meaningful is that it was written and directed by Miles Levin, who lives with epilepsy and drew from his own experiences to create an authentic and powerful story. Through the journey of the film’s main character, Sam, audiences gain a deeper understanding of the challenges, resilience, and determination of individuals navigating life with epilepsy while pursuing their dreams and aspirations.

The film is a powerful reminder that awareness leads to understanding, and understanding leads to inclusion. By sharing real stories and lived experiences, Under the Lights helps break down stigma, encourages meaningful conversations, and fosters greater empathy for individuals and families affected by epilepsy.

As a healthcare organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex healthcare needs, Community Care Rx is honored to support initiatives that promote education, advocacy, and community engagement.

Celebrating 160 years of service is more than marking a milestone — it is honoring a legacy of compassion, resilience, and dedication to strengthening communities and supporting those in need.

Surrounded by the beauty of the gardens and the energy of so many dedicated individuals, the evening served as a reminder that when communities come together with purpose and compassion, meaningful change follows.

Honored to attend the Open House at ANIBIC and witness firsthand the incredible impact this organization continues to make in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

For over 50 years, ANIBIC has been a beacon of compassion, inclusion, advocacy, and empowerment — creating opportunities for individuals to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. The dedication of the leadership team, staff, caregivers, and supporters was evident throughout the event and truly inspiring.

Walking through the programs and meeting the individuals they serve was a reminder that meaningful care is not just about services — it is about creating a community where everyone belongs and is valued.
