This September Ashleigh | Massage Loft New England turns 10 est on the south shore!!! 🎉 we’re also celebrating our first year at our new studio space at Plymouth waterfront! 🌊

Loving it here and glad you all have been too! It’s such a cozy space and continues to get cozier. Being part of eclectic downtown / small business communities has always been my dream and jam, where I feel the most at home. I’m delighted every day to be part of these areas!

Through the shifts and changes over the years, Ashleigh | Massage Loft New England has remained devoted to supporting our clients, continued to transform, grow, and evolve. Right alongside my daughter and journey as a mom. Has it been easy? Absolutely not. Worth it? Absolutely. 🦋✨

What an incredible few weeks! Been pretty quiet on here and very focused in sessions and savoring the wind down of summer and subtle shifts into fall 🍂✨

I’ll never let the algorithm tell me I’m “not growing” if I’m not posting every day. You’ll never see me posting every day. 😅🫠

Pay attention to the quieter growth, the internal growth, the growth you cannot measure, but feel the difference of in your lives, in your being.

At the end of it all, what matters most?

It’s been an honor supporting the whole village lately, from young adults to grandparents! Through all stages and chapters of lives.

Through the intensity of this world, tragedies, disparities, and through the transformation of a legend this week, let us all embrace a little more Dolly in our own ways and be the light 🦋💫

Another trip around the SUNflowers 🥰🌻✨
Love it here! Back from some off grid time. Enjoyed a few days away earlier this week visiting my family up north, exploring the sunflower field/ festival, and adventures with my daughter.

As a small business owner/ entrepreneur/ practitioner, I don’t know what traditional vacations are 😂 However, a few days away to experience other areas, cultures, ways of life, reconnect, create memories, is always a refreshing, potent experience for the soul.

Integrating back after a bit of time away, is something that I invite y’all to do after your sessions as well.

✨give yourself time

✨avoid rushing “back to reality” or booking strenuous things right after. a slower pace will support your body’s healing process.

✨extra grounding time, walks in nature

✨taking this time allows the body and mind to settle. to ease back in. to acclimate from where you’ve been, and adjust to where you are now.

It doesn’t need to be all at once, but little bits over time. So the body and experiences truly can rest • digest • and integrate.

Have loved being back in sessions this week and slowly grounding back. 😌

Story time 🤓📖💫

Six years ago, August 2020, I took a leap of faith & followed my intuition to open a second location/ join a holistic healing collaborative in Providence, RI (fox point) post re-opening of my South Shore, MA location.

I remember through such strange times in the world, my appreciation for nature, ancient healing practices, and genuine community only grew stronger and has always been something I’ve been passionate about. 🌿

It’s been a wonderful addition to the mix, with some transitions of space over the last year, which most recently led me to sharing space on alternating Thursdays at Botanic providence Herb Shop+Apothecary with a collective of fellow holistic practitioners on different days! The apothecary is open on the alt Thursdays that I’m not in + Fridays & Saturdays. 🌿✨

It’s almost been four months since I opened here and it’s been great seeing familiar and new faces in sessions. And getting to know our lovely neighbors!

It’s great being back in the same building/ area I was in before just a different wing 🪽Grateful to be here and looking forward to continued collaborations!

Coming up: September marks TEN years established on the south shore of MA and one year at my new main healing studio at Plymouth waterfront! 🎉

the endless tending to all the things 🥰💚🌿✨

gotta water the plaaaannntttts 😆 it’s a mini project these days. but tending to these beauties brings me joy. 🪴

many years ago, I stopped using the phrase “catching up”

it felt like an endless race to some illusion of being fully “caught up” on everything which doesn’t exist because there’s always more…

I started calling it tending.

like a garden. tending to all the things. not all at once, but all of them eventually.

this shift in perspective, helped me look at it more like something I’m growing, pouring into, and maintaining vs endless chores.

it helped me see a little more beauty and care in the day to day tasks.

little rituals of taking care of our spaces, ourselves and our loved ones.

not just as one more thing to do, but as a cultivation of our inner and outer worlds.

When the studio is buzzing with clients and each human is more grounded yet floating on clouds walking out, it’s a feeling beyond words. 🥹🦋✨

Spent all day this past Thursday (well most of it in between camp drop offs & pick ups & errands) on the other side of the business updating & editing my online booking site & some of my main website as well.

Taught myself so many new things, and little details I didn’t know how to do before. Definitely accidentally called pixels, pickles too 😂🥒🤷🏼‍♀️

There’s still more to do but that’s always ongoing. Felt great to switch back into practitioner mode Friday!

It was a great kick off to birthday weekend and week of client sessions in Plymouth + Providence! 🎉

I’ve been doing this work for long enough now that I’m working with some moms on their second, third, sometimes even fourth babies! 🥹

And through all stages of life! From teens (with parental permission) all the way up to grandparents.

When you pour your heart & soul into what you do, when you trust your vision, path(s) and purpose(s) in this world before anyone else does, when you weather through the waves of entrepreneurship, it hits different.

So much more than meets the eye goes into small business ownership. It takes grit, resilience, integrity, and the deep devotion to learn, grow, and evolve. On the most difficult days and seasons, it’s my fellow small biz owner friends who keep me going.

Thank you for being here, for inviting me into your lives and worlds, and having me be a part of your care team/ modern day village! 💚

Hello July!! 🌊🦋✨

It’s been a beautiful few weeks of sessions! A mix of new clients and regulars in both Plymouth & Providence. A heatwave and cool down with the rain.

Lately, it’s been a lot of talk about self care practices & energetic maintenance. About weaving in reset time and the nervous system.

The truth is, growth and healing take time and devotion. Especially when it comes to high stress levels and nervous system processing. It’s much more of a work in progress/ practice. Always amazing to see the differences session to session!

Self care isn’t one more thing we do, it’s a relationship we build / rebuild with ourselves throughout the seasons of our lives.

My specialty is supporting my clients feel the difference in their bodies through massage therapy + reiki. There’s no way to know all we’re carrying until we set it down.

Massage + reiki are not only for pain/ tension/ stress, they’re to help you feel more like you! 💚

the outpour 🌊🙌🏼🌊

many chats this week about replenishing the outpour of energy. through extra busy times in life, it can feel like the very thing “we don’t have time for” but is the very thing, that helps us sustain our energy through the marathon and whirlwind that life can be.

lessons from past burnouts that I’ve been through along my journey, have taught me so much.

we don’t need to be on the edge of burnout, or fully burnt out, or in pain, to pause, rest, and receive.

it’s a way to nourish yourself and maintain your energy for the long haul.

it comes in many forms which I’ll share more about in future posts.
