Story time 🤓📖✨
Long ago, in 2012, I became an entrepreneur.
“Wait…..”
“That’s crazy!!”
Some said….
But I was ready. I had a vision in massage therapy school of owning my own practice someday. Four years into the healing field with enough experience, the licensing and certifications, an opportunity for my first space presented itself. A blank canvas, not too big, not too small, just enough room to bring my dream to life. 🌿✨
Almost 14 years ago, I met an incredible fellow healing practitioner in the field, a holistic esthetician, who was also ready to launch her own space. Side by side, in a Victorian home that was renovated into professional office suites, in a vibrant downtown small business community, we launched our businesses.
This energy has always stuck with me.
When life changed, and shifted to the south shore of MA, I was a new mom, in a new area. With this dream still in my heart, yet in a new chapter of life.
“Wait…”
“You’re a mom now, you can’t do both.”
Some said…
But I have always been someone who feels called to do many things here in life. And I understand we have dreams in our hearts for a reason.
This September, I’ll be celebrating 10 years of being established on the south shore of MA and my first full year at my new studio location! This June marks 3 years at Plymouth waterfront. August marks 6 years est in Providence. 10 years of my daughter seeing me, do both. 10 years of her knowing, she can bring the dreams in her heart to life. And she can do many things. 💚
Has it been easy? Not at all. Is it possible? Absolutely.
Sharing this for anyone starting out and for anyone who could use this reminder along the way. Just keep going, believing, and evolving. I know some days even well into the journey, I can still use these reminders too!
For the folks who have been with me since the beginning, along the way, or are new here, thank you. It means more than you know. 🙏🏼
