✨ Little things can make a BIG difference! ✨

In ABA, progress doesn’t always come from big changes. Sometimes, it’s the simple supports we use every day that create meaningful opportunities for growth. 💙

From a visual timer that makes transitions easier, to a preferred toy that encourages communication, a puzzle that builds persistence, or a token board that celebrates each step. Every little support has a purpose. 🌱

These small moments can help children build important skills, increase independence, and feel successful along the way.

The BCBA leaves and suddenly the behavior has entered its ✨final boss✨ era 😭

But remember: behavior doesn’t happen “for no reason.” 👀
Changes in the environment, attention, task demands, access to tangibles, or other antecedents can influence behavior.

ABA reminder: Instead of just reacting to the behavior, look at what happened before, during, and after to better understand its function. 🧠📊

Behind every session is a lot more than what meets the eye. 🌱

RBTs may spend a session redirecting, prompting, reinforcing, supporting communication, and helping learners navigate challenging moments.

These moments are part of the learning process. Through ABA, we work to understand the function of behavior and teach meaningful replacement skills that help learners communicate their needs more effectively.

Every redirect, prompt, and moment of reinforcement is an opportunity to build a skill. 💙

Because progress can happen in the busiest moments, too.
