Project SAFER is a FREE event for Clallam County residents who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their family members and care providers to interact with First Responders in a fun and relaxing environment. Please come see us at the Clallam County Fair on August 20, 2026 from 10am - 4pm.

Project SAFER is hosting a free event during the Clallam County Fair on August 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Clallam County community members who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to interact with First Responders in a fun and relaxing environment. This information will be shared with First Responders—such as Police, Fire and EMS—so they are better equipped to provide the right support during an encounter.
