Meet Your Provider

Hello! I'm Judi Pimental, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, founder and provider at Trinity Direct Primary Care.

My passion has always been caring for people and building meaningful relationships with my patients. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 2013 and began my career serving as Residential Care Director at the Maine Veterans' Home. After several years of leadership in long-term care, I pursued my lifelong goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, earning my Master's Degree in Nursing in 2019.

Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I've had the privilege of caring for patients across Aroostook County in a variety of settings. I began my practice in Family Medicine with Northern Light Health in Fort Fairfield, later provided care in the Northern Light Walk-In Clinic, and currently serve as the Health Director for the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

While these experiences have been incredibly rewarding, they also opened my eyes to the challenges facing today's healthcare system. I found myself caring for an overwhelming number of patients each day, with appointment times becoming shorter and patients often waiting weeks or even months to be seen. I knew there had to be a better way to practice medicine—one that prioritized relationships, accessibility, and personalized care.

That vision became Trinity Direct Primary Care.

At Trinity, my goal is simple: to provide healthcare the way it should be. As a member, you'll receive personalized, unrushed care with a provider who truly knows you. Whether you need a routine visit, management of a chronic condition, or treatment for an unexpected illness, you'll have direct access to me through text, phone, email, or secure messaging. I offer same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible, along with both in-person and telehealth visits, making it easier than ever to receive the care you deserve.

Outside of work, I live in Caribou with my husband and our three dogs. Family is the center of my life, and I am blessed to have most of my children and grandchildren nearby. I'm a proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, with two more on the way, and I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them.

I believe healthcare is built on trust, communication, and genuine relationships—not rushed appointments or crowded waiting rooms. I look forward to partnering with you and helping you achieve your healthiest life through compassionate, accessible, and personalized care.

Welcome to Trinity Direct Primary Care—where you're more than a patient. You're family.

✅Here is an example of how direct primary care is different.
Received a text from a patient wondering if they needed stitches, photo sent and wondering should they go to walk in/ER. Since I can do all of that in my office, I said meet me at 12:30 and I will assess and see if sutures or maybe skin glue and steri-strips. "But it's Sunday, and I don't want to bother you". Well, it's not a bother, with direct primary care we have the ability to meet with patients when and how we need to, based on need. Patient got their needs addressed, saved a trip to the walk in or ER and certainly saved a copay or bill.
*This was posted with the patient's permission. But it highlights the difference of traditional models of care and how direct primary care goes above and beyond.

Top 10 reasons you should consider direct primary care:

1. You deserve your health to take center stage. All of your primary care needs met in one place. Referrals to specialists and imaging when needed can be placed.

2. Same or next day acute visits. Long wait times to be seen can cause a simple issue to progress into more serious concerns.

3. Real time access to your provider, whether a quick question or a timely scheduled visit.

4. Continuity of care. You see a provider that knows you, not just being put in the schedule with whoever has availability.

5. Longer appointment times to better get to the root of your health concerns.

6. Point of care testing when needed for things like Strep, Covid, Influenzas, urinary tract infections, all at no additional cost. Low-cost blood work available when needed or can be ordered to a local lab if you have coverage.

7. One affordable monthly payment that includes all the appointments you may need, never a copay. You are never surprised by unexpected costs.

8. We have the freedom to do home visits if clinically indicated to meet your needs in non-traditional ways and think outside the box when deciding what is best for you.

9. 50+ commonly prescribed medications kept in stock at very low cost to patients; you save time and money by skipping the pharmacy!

10. Evening hours 3 times per week to offer flexibility around your work/personal commitments.

Conveniently located in Presque Isle Maine.

We are currently accepting new patients.
* Visit our website to see what the DPC difference can do for you. Real attention from your provider, same or next day acute visits. Real time access through calls, text or video visit.
* We have extended hours three evenings per week, offer low-cost lab services, and 50+ medications when indicated at 90% below retail prices. No separate trips to the pharmacy.
* If you have health insurance, you can still be a member (we just don't bill insurance) your insurance can still be used for emergency room visits, testing such as x-rays, specialist visits which we refer for when necessary and prescriptions if you have prescription coverage. If you don't have insurance, we take care of all of your primary care needs and can help to negotiate steep cash pay discounts if you do need specialist intervention, imaging or other testing that cannot be done in our office.
* We do in office EKG's at no additional charge, point of care testing such as covid, flu, strep, urinalysis also at no additional charge. The difference is access to care, you may have insurance, but are you able to see your provider when needed?
* There are also co-pays if you have insurance that rack up every time you have a visit. There are never any additional costs associated with your membership for additional visits. Click the link below to find out more or sign up for membership.
