Another grad 🎓

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you that Heather Brooke Wright initially walked into my office, struggling to latch her baby, with low supply, and poor transfer after seeing her today. 🩷

Ni**le shield: gone
Poor transfer: outta here
Low supply: fixed

Working through oral strengthening exercises, supporting weight gain while simultaneously increasing supply, and finding what worked for her + her family was all it took 😉

(Oh, and some game changing body work with our people at Dr. Collin & Kara Walding | Prenatal & Pediatric | 📍Prosper, TX for one sided preference, jaw tension, and recessed chin work)

Trying not to cry over this graduation moment 🎓

Taylor Hale Abney came to me as a client with the wonderful TexasFamilyBirth&Wellness center 🤍 Prenatally we sat our goals for what we wanted this journey to look like for this baby. Following a history of difficult feeding stories with those cutie older siblings, we hoped to make it a new journey.

Then reality set in.. NICU admission, slow weight gain, fatigue at breast, low tone, tension. BUT. Taylor worked diligently.

Oral exercises that changed depending on sweet Sadie’s needs that session ✅ bottle feeding and pumping to protect supply + support weight gain ✅ body work ✅ speech therapy eval ✅

Sadie graduates today with an established beautiful growth curve, and transferring THREEEEEEE ounces consistently. 🥹🥳

I am SO proud of this sweet family, and SO thankful to work along side of them in their journey. (Big sister helped with weights 🩷)

Also, a big shout out to Dr. Amber Galipp + Hannah Jefferson | Frisco Speech Therapy for the team work on getting this family feeding efficiently.

I need to be honest and make a hard post that’s opposite of my usual fun things.

Please note that this is NOT directed towards any one person. This is the result of a boundary that I need to set to protect my personal time, and my business.

Moving forward, if I have not seen you within the last month, I will not be answering questions or assisting with a care plan without reassessing you and/or baby.

I truly try my best to go above and beyond for my clients. With that being said, my down time and my family time is just as important.

You deserve a detailed + personalized care plan created by a professional, and I’m more than happy to provide that to you.

I offer services from prenatal through weaning, including: introductions of solids, teething, returning to work, and just about everything in between.

I have worked SO hard to build my practice to where it is now, but I also have to prevent burnout and protect my peace simultaneously.

I am truly honored to be a part of each of your feeding stories + look forward to continuing that. 🩷

Another day, another grad 🎓
What a special consultation. Not only did we graduate, but it was the last consult in my old office. 🥹

When I first met Skylar Pelo she was referred to me due to her babies oral restrictions. She was struggling with latch technique, pain, and supply issues. We worked along side of Natural Smiles Pediatric Dentistry + Dr. Collin & Kara Walding | Prenatal & Pediatric | 📍Prosper, TX to overcome restriction, low tone, tension, and transfer.

Recently starting back to work (go working moms💪🏼) she’s still breastfeeding, pumping, and bringing home the bacon (and milk!) 🤣

Skylar thank you for letting me be a part of your journey! It has been such a joy to see you grow in motherhood + confidence. 🩷

Today’s graduate 🎓
Sweet Carrie Canova came to my following a hard readmission postpartum and feeding difficulties.
We powered through n*pple pain, clogged ducts, engorgement, poor latch, slow weight gain, and tongue + lip tie releases. Carrie stayed so dedicated to her feeding journey and left the office today comfortable nursing, a a four oz transfer session, and cruising 🥰

One of the things I love most about my job is seeing the transition of a mom that needs full direction in feeding, come to graduation day with her latching baby and chatting nonchalantly with me while doing so. 🥹

I have a new office!
Don’t worry TexasFamilyBirth&Wellness Moms, I’m still 100% partnered with the wonderful midwives💛

With rapid growth (all in thanks to you guys 🥹), comes the need for a different space to accommodate the schedule needs.

Starting October 5th, I’ll be seeing clients in the office at my new space inside Dr. Collin & Kara Walding | Prenatal & Pediatric | 📍Prosper, TX 🥰
Many of you already know and love them, and I think this will be a wonderful location for all of us in this next step. Home visits in Aubrey will continue as well, as my schedule allows.

Please note: if you are scheduled for an in office appointment on or after October 5th, you will be at the new location. The address is: 704 E First St, Prosper, TX 75078
