Colonoscopy? Easy. Prep? Rude as hell. 😂

I’ve had Ulcerative Colitis since 2010, so annual colonoscopies are just part of the deal. Long-term UC comes with an increased risk of colorectal cancer…so yeah, I’m gonna drink the damn Miralax and Gatorade.

The meds though? Best nap ever. 😂

5 things I’d buy again after my liver transplant. 💚

Nobody tells you this stuff, so here’s what I’d spend my money on all over again...

💧 A 40 oz water bottle (You’ll hear “you need to drink more water” about a million times. 😂)

🤍 An abdominal binder (I always felt like everything was just...loose. This made me feel so much more supported.)

🔥 A heating pad (Listen...my back hurt WAY more than my incision.)

🪑 A recliner (If that’s not an option, a bed assist rail is the next best thing.)

🛏️ A small pillow (Trust me. Coughing, sneezing, laughing, or even hitting a bump in the car...you’ll thank me later.)

Transplant friends...what would you add? I know I’m forgetting something. 👇🏾💚

Not to be dramatic, but... this is something I wish someone had told me after my liver transplant.

If you’re immunosuppressed, this appointment might need to happen more often than you think.
