With 2 years of experience and a true passion for helping others here at Southampton, Ron brings our core values to life each day through his leadership, dedication, and commitment to our residents and staff.
For Ron, long-term care is about more than clinical services, it is about the human connections that matter most during life’s most vulnerable moments. Seeing a resident’s face light up when family arrives, or watching a staff member take extra time to listen and make someone feel seen, reminds him that this work is not just about treatment, but about becoming part of someone’s extended family.
He believes one of the biggest misconceptions is that they are simply places for those who can no longer live independently. In reality, they provide rehabilitation, specialized clinical care, emotional support, social engagement, and often a pathway home. They are places of healing, dignity, and connection where residents are supported in reaching their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Through his leadership, Ron works to create a culture where residents and staff feel valued every day. He believes that starts with consistency, respect, and presence — honoring residents’ preferences, listening to their concerns, and treating them as individuals, while also ensuring staff feel supported, recognized, and equipped to succeed. When everyone feels heard and appreciated, the facility becomes more than a care setting, it becomes a true community.
