At our center, recovery is guided by expertise and powered by heart. We’re committed to delivering individualized care that supports healing, confidence, and lasting outcomes. Hear Roy Brightwell’s story below:

“I'm very happy with my care and how I was treated.

I really liked physical therapy, both the people and the activities. My favorite was the stationary bike, I felt like I could really feel it strengthening my legs. I also spent a lot of time lifting weights and gaining strength in my arms. I know that I still have more to do when I get home as far as physical therapy goes, but I feel better now that I know what to do and how to do it.

I'm in a much better spot now than I was when I got here. I'm excited to go home and feel better enough to spend more time with my wife."

Roy and his wife are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this Saturday, making his return home even more meaningful. He can’t wait to show her how much progress he’s made and see how proud she is of him.

We were proud to host a Back-to-School Bash for kids from Richmond and Chesterfield County public schools. Southampton and our staff came together to collect and donate school supplies, while the kids enjoyed snacks, drinks, plenty of laughs, and music by DJ Jason.

When our Richmond neighbors need support, we show up.

Following the recent fire that displaced seniors from Darbyhouse Apartments, Canterbury Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center and Southampton Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center are serving as donation drop-off sites throughout July.

We are collecting toiletries and personal care items to help our Darbyhouse neighbors begin rebuilding, anew. Every donation makes a difference.
