Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship is hiring!

We are seeking a full-time Development Director. Professional experience in nonprofit development is required, as is experience with fundraising events. This position is in-person. We are looking for an enthusiastic, goal-oriented individual who wants to be a part of our incredible team. Thursday, September 3rd will be our much-loved Development Coordinator, Lacy McKale's last day with Reining Strength. Though we are sad to see her leave this role, we are happy for her new ventures that are the perfect fit for her family. Fear not, Lacy will not be going far. We are excited to still have her as a part of the Reining Strength family as a volunteer. Good luck, Lacy! Thank you for all you have done for our organization, and we know you will continue to be a fierce advocate of Reining Strength.

Hi friends!! We are a little less than a month away from starting classes again for our fall semesters! We can’t wait to see our awesome volunteers, riders and families!!

We are wishing everyone a wonderful and safe first week back to school.

The Reining Strength team has been working to get ready for the fall semester, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on September 14th! See you soon, and until then, enjoy this selfie from Whinny. :)

We are greatly saddened to share that Carmen Hernandez, known to many as Granny, passed away on July 25th surrounded by her family. Carmen was the mother of Reining Strength's founder, Tom Hernandez, and mother-in-law to founder Peggy. She has been a supporter and volunteer at Reining Strength since its inception.

She was a lifelong advocate for individuals with different abilities and an incredible example of a parent of a child with a disability - having expectations, always teaching, always learning.

The Reining Strength community will miss her, and we will be closed tomorrow morning so that the staff may attend her services.
