UGRC is proud to be a beneficiary of the inaugural Elton John Impact Awards — a powerful new platform celebrating the icons, legends, and trailblazers shaping a more inclusive world for LGBTQ+ communities. 🌈

Support from the Elton John Impact Awards, , , and Looking Out Foundation helps CenterLink strengthen and support more than 180 LGBTQ community centers providing critical health, youth, and community support services nationwide.

From mental health support and youth programming to advocacy and safe spaces for connection, LGBTQ community centers continue to be a lifeline in communities across the country.

The City of Richmond, VA Government has launched its first LGBTQ+ Community Survey to gather anonymous feedback from LGBTQ+ residents about their experiences, needs, and priorities, helping guide future policies, services, partnerships, and staff training.

Led by the Office of Equity & Inclusion, the survey supports the city’s commitment to building more inclusive and responsive communities through resident-driven data and engagement.

City leaders and community advocates say the effort marks an important step toward ensuring LGBTQ+ Richmonders feel safe, supported, and represented.
