Hello, September!!! 🧡🧡

“September, where summer slowly fades and fall begins to whisper.” 🍂

If you don’t know already, fall is my favorite season! I wish it could be six months long. 🙌🏻

I love the beauty that comes with it and all the fun fall things.

I’m excited for what is already planned and welcome anything that isn’t planned, in hopes that it brings peace, laughter, and happiness.

What is reiki?

Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that works with the body’s natural energy.

It is based on the belief that when our energy is balanced and flowing freely, we can feel more relaxed, grounded, and at ease.

Some other benefits include:
* Aids in stress reduction
* Feeling calmer or more emotionally grounded
* Better sleep or easier winding down at night
* A sense of energetic or emotional release
* Reduced tension in the body
* Feeling more connected to yourself or more present
* Can be supportive during periods of feeling burnout, anxious or overwhelmed.
* Complementary support alongside other wellness practices like yoga, meditation, massage, or therapy

How is it already August?! 😱🤯 It’s crazy how fast time is flying by!

As we welcome a new month, what are you looking forward to?

Me, I have a few things planned that I’m really excited about! I also want to soak up more of these summer days and do more summery things. ☀️

I’ve also decided to pause my weekly public yoga classes for a bit and really pour into myself. So this month will be filled with lots of self-care, taking yoga classes myself, and giving myself more time to just be.

Here’s to a new month, new moments, and making space for what we need. ✨

After taking some time away, I’m so excited to be back teaching yoga this week! 💛

This trip reminded me of something I think we all need and it’s the importance of unplugging.

Stepping away from the constant notifications, endless scrolling, and busy schedules gave me the chance to simply be present. To slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with myself. It’s amazing how much clarity and peace you can find when you create a little space.

That’s one of the things I love most about yoga. For that hour, you get permission to unplug from the outside world and tune back into yourself. Through movement, breath, and stillness, you can quiet the noise and remember what it feels like to just be.

I’m looking forward to sharing that space with you again this week. I’d love to see you there!!

This morning, during my usual walk through the garden, I noticed something really cool and beautiful.

One of my cucumber vines had started growing off to the side instead of climbing up the trellis. But rather than stopping, its other tiny tendril reached outward and grabbed onto the other tendril so that it could continue to grow.

It felt like a reminder.

Nature doesn’t panic when the path changes. It adapts, looks for support and tries to keep growing. We are actually allowed to do the same!

Remember, not every season of life unfolds the way we imagined it would. Sometimes the direction changes. Sometimes the original plan no longer fits.

Growth does require us at times to pivot, reach for something new, and trust that it’s okay to find another way forward. Even if it’s uncomfortable. Even if it wasn’t the plan. Growth is still growth.
