Meet Patrick! 💙

Patrick says one of his favorite things about coming to Open Avenues is getting out of the house and seeing all his friends. And that smile makes it pretty clear he enjoys being here!

When he’s not working, Patrick loves going places like Silver Dollar City and hitting the waterslides. And something that always makes him happy? Watching The Powerpuff Girls!

Today, he’s busy packaging Ring Snuggies - with Patrick Star right there at his workstation, of course. ⭐

We love having Patrick as part of the Open Avenues crew!

What does a Tuesday at Open Avenues look like? A little bit of everything! 👀

Today, our crews are sorting hangers, inspecting boxes, labeling products, sealing and packaging parts, and keeping plenty of other projects moving.

Different jobs. Different skills. One busy Tuesday. 💙

There’s more to a hanger than you might think! 👕

Francisco is hard at work on one of our projects for Cintas Corporation. Hangers come to Open Avenues to be sorted and untangled before being carefully weighed to make sure the right number goes into each box and heads back out the door.

It’s real work for a real business, while building skills, confidence and independence along the way.

That’s Where Ability Works. 💙

The seventh annual Open Avenues SOAR benefit reached new heights Aug. 14 and 15 at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Bentonville.

The family friendly fundraiser started with a sponsor appreciation reception Aug. 14 with Jerrit Davis, Walmart vice president merchandising -- pets, and Ryan Lemoine, Sam's Club vice president merchandise solutions, serving as honorary co-hosts.
