Jasmine is a bilingual master’s-level counselor who brings warmth, cultural understanding, and genuine care to every session. She works with teens, adults, and young couples in both English and Spanish, with a special heart for first-generation Latino clients and families navigating life’s harder moments.

As a proud first-generation Latina, an educator, and a mother, Jasmine brings lived experience and deep empathy into her work. Her approach is person-centered, relationally focused, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

We want you to know the people behind Mosaic Wholeness Center. This is Joann Oyola, MA, LPC, NCC.

Joann is a bilingual licensed professional counselor and our Clinical Director, and she brings something rare into the therapy room: a presence that is both deeply gentle and appropriately direct. She creates a space where grace and truth coexist, where clients feel genuinely supported while also being challenged toward real growth. She does not just help people manage symptoms. She helps them get to the root.

She works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, and major life transitions. As a Puerto Rican woman who lived on the island for 20 years before building her life in Chicago, she brings a lived understanding of cultural transition and identity that shapes everything about how she shows up for her clients. Her approach weaves Biblical truth with evidence-based practices, and for those seeking care in Spanish, she offers that too.

Wesley is a bilingual therapist offering counseling in English and Mandarin for individuals, couples, and families. He knows firsthand what it means to carry more than one world inside you, different languages, different expectations, different versions of who you are supposed to be, depending on who is in the room. Before becoming a therapist, he spent nearly a decade in accounting, which means he also knows the kind of professional pressure, identity drift, and quiet burnout that high-achieving people rarely name out loud until something breaks.

Her faith is not a compartment in her life; it is woven into everything she does, including how she shows up for her clients. For those who want it, she integrates spirituality into the work. She specializes in anxiety, depression, life transitions, couples work, and culturally responsive care for Spanish-speaking and bilingual clients. Beyond her client work, she also supervises emerging clinicians and invests in youth leadership at her local church.
