The Central Valley Health Network team has grown these past several months! Stay tuned for introductions for our newest team members and share a warm welcome for them in the comments!

Our new Operations and Outreach Coordinator, Christina, coordinates CVHN’s operations and assists in advancing outreach strategies to support our health center members in the Central Valley, Sacramento, and Northern California regions.

Prior to joining CVHN, she built a community-driven career working in the Central Valley’s non-profit sector by supporting large-scale outreach efforts and providing program management for underserved populations, including Governor Gavin Newsom’s Listos California campaign and the CalFresh Outreach Program during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Christina has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing minor from CSU Fresno.

Congratulations to all of our members who were recognized as recipients of the 2026 Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) UDS award for Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality!

This award recognizes their work in offering telehealth services, exchanging clinical information online with key provider settings, engaging patients through HIT, and collecting data on patient health-related needs.

This wouldn’t be complete without a cuadrilla! Several were organized this week by our Community Health Center members including one this morning with Family HealthCare Network!

Central Valley Health Network is proud to be recognized nationally as one of the largest networks providing services to agricultural workers. It’s through impactful outreach events like cuadrillas that agricultural workers get the opportunity to take part in complimentary health checks and connect with local providers.

During , Valley Health Team, Inc. presented a special diabetes education-themed game of BINGO for community members at the Firebaugh Senior Center! 🎉

While fun and prizes were certainly had, participants also left with greater awareness of how making informed choices can lead to better overall health! ❤️

This morning, we were on hand as team members from Altura Centers for Health led a Zumba session, provided blood pressure checks, and held a nutrition class!

From regular exercise to promoting awareness and education - their team is empowering their community members to take charge of their health! ❤️
