This free, virtual Brown Bag Lunch event will bring together nationally recognized experts on compliance and implementation of Title I in the workplace.

The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and will provide practical tools and real-world solutions to ensure employee inclusion and equity.

Title I ADA Coordinators, Human Resources accommodations personnel, college and university ADA coordinators, managers and supervisors, union stewards, and employees with disabilities concerned about employment rights are all encouraged to participate in this free, virtual event.

PROWAG provides guidance for making public outdoor spaces accessible, including sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, curb ramps, street crossings, and trails. This webinar will offer an overview of PROWAG, highlighting the differences between earlier publications and the final rule. We will also discuss the similarities and differences between PROWAG and ADAAG (Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines). Finally, the webinar will outline current and future enforcement of PROWAG.

The Great Lakes ADA Center invites you to register for the upcoming Arts-n-Rec session titled “The Art of Accessibility: Implementing the ADA in Cultural Spaces,” featuring staff from Open Door Arts! This free Zoom webinar will take place on Thursday, December 11 at 1:00.

Arts, culture, and civic spaces are vibrant community anchors, but accessibility needs in these venues are often complex and unique. Many organizations want to understand their ADA obligations but lack tools tailored for theaters, museums, historic sites, and public spaces. This session introduces the Arts & Culture Accessibility Hub’s free tools to understand ADA requirements, plus a clear cycle—assess, plan, connect, learn, implement—to turn intention into action. Participants will leave with practical steps to meet compliance and strengthen accessibility beyond the ADA.
