The month of May holds many significant dates. Some arrive naturally with the season, while others are dedicated to honoring those who deserve recognition.

This week is no exception, though it can easily be overlooked in the shuffle.

This week is EMS Week, and we want to pause to recognize the first responders who enter moments of fear, urgency, and uncertainty with calm, courage, and skill.

To the EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and emergency professionals who serve our communities: thank you for the steady presence you bring when people need help most.

Your work matters. Your compassion is seen. And we are grateful.
