Throwing it back to 2023! ↩️💛

How well do you love and accept yourselt?
I have to admit, the first time I took the Harry Potter sorting house quiz, I was not happy it said I was a Hufflepuff.

So I took it again.

And again.

Still Hufflepuff.

Why did this upset me? Well...everyone wants to be Gryffindor, right?
I’ve done a similar thing with the DISC assessment and the Enneagram model and all other personality tests. These were all attempts to figure out a way for me to be something I am not.

But at some point I decided to stop the madness.

Constantly striving for something different only feels awful and uncomfortable.
I am still a work in progress, as many of us are, but today more than ever, I embrace the loud, chatty, scattered, emotional, loving, moody, silly, sarcastic and serious parts of me.

If you never allow emotions to pass through you - how do you know if you can handle them or not? 🤔

Allow yourself to experience it.

Give it a name, for example, “this emotion feels like overwhelm.”

Name it, take a long deep breath, and then let it go. Imagine it floating away like a cloud in the sky. ☁️

You can handle it. I promise you have done much harder things. 😍
