The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council is excited to introduce our Facebook community to UDDC Members throughout 2026. Each Month we will be introducing to you a Council member in our “Meet a Member” series. You will learn what they like to do for fun, how they got involved in advocacy, and so much more. Meet Lisa.

Lisa has been an advocate on disability issues for almost 30 years. She does it because she want to make the world a little bit better for my son and others like him.
Lisa served two terms on the council as a citizen member. Now she is serving as an agency liaison for the council because she works at the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). She loves being a part of the council because they do important work supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. When she is not advocating Lisa likes to read, listening to music, and going on cruises with her family.
