Hey, San Antonio friends! 👋😄 We're partnering with Gonzaba Medical Group and E&G Healthcare Solutions to give out FREE fresh eggs to our senior community on Tuesday, Sept. 8!

This will be a drive-thru event hosted at our San Antonio offices, and all seniors (age 62+) from the local community are invited to attend. In addition to the egg giveaway, we'll also have a licensed agent on site to assist with any health insurance questions you might have.

Please see the following details if you'd like to come by!

✅ Tuesday, Sept. 8 starting at 10am (while supplies last)
✅ En Su Casa offices at 115 N Park Blvd
✅ Seniors (age 62+) must be present for pickup
✅ Only one item per person
✅ Attendees must remain in the vehicle at all times, no walk-ups please!

Being in the caregiver industry means caring for our communities, too! 🫶📚 This past weekend, our team members volunteered for the SAISD Foundation to sort and organize books for various reading levels. Not only do these efforts support learning and literacy, but they also pave the way for students to excel with the right reading materials. Way to go, team! 🙌

To our neighbors in San Antonio - we understand that our community has suffered extensive damage from the severe storms that were endured this past weekend. Please review the following resources that we've collected in case they can help you and your loved ones - and also please share with your friends and family to help us spread the word!

COOLING CENTERS:
Libraries, senior centers, and community centers remain available as cooling locations during regular operating hours. View a live map of all cooling centers + get more resources at SA.gov/HotWeather.

TRANSPORTATION:
VIA Metropolitan Transit is providing free transportation to daytime cooling locations. Residents who need transportation assistance can call 3-1-1.

FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION:
Emergency meals and perishable food items will be available at the San Antonio Food Bank's curbside distribution lane located at 5200 Historic Old Hwy 90, San Antonio, TX 78227 on Monday 8/31 from 8am-4pm, and Tuesday 9/1 to Friday 9/4: 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Pre-registration is encouraged, but impacted households will not be turned away during those hours.

TRASH PICKUP:
Westside Trash Pickup Added for Tuesday, 9/1 on Culebra (north), Buena Vista (south), Zarzamora (west), and I-10/35 (east).
