Last Chance to Join Us!

Many of us receive messages about aging that focus on decline, limitation, or what we've lost.

But what if this stage of life is also an invitation?

An invitation to create. To reflect. To make meaning of what you've lived. To discover new parts of yourself that are still waiting to emerge.

Art has a unique way of helping us navigate life's transitions. It gives shape to experiences that can be difficult to put into words and helps us reconnect with what matters most.

If you've been thinking about joining Living Your Legacy, this is your gentle reminder that we begin in just 2 days.

Together, we'll use expressive arts, storytelling, reflection, and community to explore the second half of life as a creative and meaningful passage, not an ending, but a becoming.

✨ Live Online on Zoom

If your heart has been nudging you toward this experience, we'd love to welcome you.

What does it mean to live your legacy while you're still here?

So often we think of legacy as something we leave behind. But what if legacy is something we embody every day through our stories, relationships, creativity, and the way we show up in the world?

In this conversation, Marialuisa and I reflect on the power of meaning-making and how our life experiences, including the difficult ones, can become part of a larger story of purpose, connection, and contribution.

This is at the heart of our upcoming Living Your Legacy Retreat.

Together, we'll explore how to honor your unique journey, uncover the wisdom woven through your life, and create space for what wants to be expressed now.

✨ A nourishing experience of reflection, creativity, storytelling, and connection

🎨✨ What if creativity is more than self-expression… what if it also supports how we age?

A recent study from University College London found that arts and cultural engagement may be linked to a slower pace of biological aging. Researchers suggest that creative experiences can support our wellbeing through emotional expression, stress reduction, cognitive stimulation, and meaningful social connection. 💫

For many of us in the second half of life, creativity becomes more than a hobby. It becomes a lifeline, a companion, and a way to make meaning from our experiences.

This is one of the reasons I am so passionate about Living Your Legacy: A Creative Voyage into the Second Half of Life, a two-day online retreat I’ll be co-facilitating with the wonderful Marialuisa Diaz de Leon Zuloaga on June 19th and 20th . Together we will explore movement, visual art, creative writing, story, and embodied reflection as pathways toward purpose, connection, and legacy. 🌿💜

Perhaps aging is not about becoming less of ourselves… but more fully who we are.

✨ If you are longing to reconnect with your creative spirit and explore what this next chapter is asking of you, we would love to welcome you.

I loved reading this recent article about the beautiful work happening at the Shantigar Foundation in Rowe, MA and Jamie McHugh’s reflections on forest bathing, slowing down, and “the fullness of experience.”

In a world that moves so fast and fractures our attention in countless ways, spaces like Shantigar feel more important than ever.

I’m especially excited because this October, I’ll be joining Jamie at Shantigar for a 5-day residential immersion: The Dance of Art, Body, and Earth.

Together we’ll explore movement, expressive arts, creativity, nature connection, somatic practices, rest, reflection, and deep listening during the breathtaking New England fall season. It’s truly a gift to gather in a place so devoted to presence, embodiment, and relationship with the living world.

Reading this article made me even more excited for what we’ll be co-creating there together. 🍂

As most of you know about me, I am dedicated to the creative arts in all its forms. The joy of personal expression makes my life worth living, and being able to facilitate healing and change processes through the arts is at the center of my work. In this context, I see firsthand on a regular basis how people struggle in their art life, and the ways that the creative pursuit can be extremely complex.

There is such a strong desire in myself, and in so many people I work with, to find freedom of self-expression and revel in the experience. In the best case scenario, painting is a brilliant catharsis, music is meditation, dance is a revelation! These are the moments where we feel awake, alive, and tap into the gift of creativity.

There comes a moment when we begin to ask different questions about our lives. Not just what we are doing, but how we are living, what we are creating, and what we are leaving behind.

Living Your Legacy is an invitation to explore that space through creativity, reflection, and embodied practice. Together, we will listen more deeply, connect with what matters most, and shape what wants to emerge in this next chapter.

Join me and Marialuisa Diaz de Leon for this online retreat on June 19–20, 2026.
