Client came in for an annual color maintenance and wanted brighter peachy lips, but I had to send her home...

Why? Her lips were still VERY saturated. Adding more pigment would be a waste of time (and her “suffering” 🫣). I’d rather have her happy long term than for just a few days of peachier lips.

Next steps: rescheduled her for 6 months out to do a check in! She left happy and appreciative 🌸

Client wanted lip color that does not look like she got her lips tattooed…

Time to set expectations! After lips peel, color will fade by about 40% depending on post care and individual. This is why the second appointment is crucial for layering in more pigment. Don’t skip your second appointment! Sometimes even more sessions are needed depending on the individual!

FAQ: can I get lip blush with lip filler?

Answer: depends how long ago you got it and if you plan to get it in the future. You should definitely get the okay from a medical professional, but it is recommended that your filler is settled before doing lip blush. If you plan to get more in the future know that this may change the lip blush result as you’re changing the shape of your lips.

The bluish grey color that we see means that the red and yellows have faded out, which means we gotta add them back in 😬
