Summer Sports Performance Training in the Books
This group put in the work, and the results showed it.
Our goal wasn’t simply to make athletes “stronger.” We trained to improve the physical qualities that support baseball performance: force production, rate of force development, power, speed, movement quality, and the ability to express those qualities repeatedly.
Throughout the summer, we used objective testing alongside what we saw in training to track adaptation and make better programming decisions. The result was measurable progress across the group, with athletes improving in multiple areas of physical performance.
The numbers matter, but they’re only part of the process. What impressed me most was the consistency, competitiveness, and effort these athletes brought every week.
Assess. Train. Measure. Adjust. Repeat.
Great summer. Now it’s time to build on it.
