Support – We offer parents/caregivers the opportunity to connect one-to-one with a parent/caregiver of an individual with the same or similar disability or special health care need – someo

ne who has “been there.”
Information & Referral – We help families locate the information and services they need
Trainings – Workshop sessions are available on Understanding Medicaid Service Coordination, Record Keeping and Using a Health Care Notebook, and various other topics.

Get ready, Capital District!

The Special Fathers Network Tour is stopping at Parent to Parent of NYS. We hope you can join us for something powerful.

This Monday, 9:00am - 500 Balltown Road, Schenectady. There are multiple entrances, but we recommend parking in the large lot on Balltown Road. From there, please proceed to Building #3. Signs with arrows will guide you. We are located in Conference Room #2.

All are welcome to this special event - featuring a complimentary book, real conversations, and a live podcast with our Father Support Coordinator.

Let’s face it—nothing keeps parents up at night more than thinking about who will care for our child/children when we are no longer able to care for them. 🌙💭

This essential workshop will increase the knowledge of families of individuals with disabilities about the options besides legal guardianship for adults with disabilities. 🧩💡 If your adult child does not need full guardianship, there are other incredible options that we will explore together in this presentation! 🤝🌟
