By using telemedicine, multiple locations or multiple time blocks can be served without the overhead of a full time hire or the need for a provider to transit in between patient locations. Telemedicine allows the flexibility to change locations, change hours, and even change providers all at a pre-set price. Further, it allows easy scaling to higher service levels; or, if an unfortunate change happens, fewer hours of service, a significant concern in the era of loss of funding at unexpected times.
