We have a new provider joining our team in November! Dr. Michael Manning joins us after his two year residency in pediatric and adult primary care. Not only are we excited for Dr. Manning to join our team because of his kind, eager to be engaged, and supportive personality, but also because he brings his pediatric skills to the clinic to expand our neonatal to adult care alongside Dr. Helen Kinsel! This means we have pediatric care appointments available five days a week. We are so excited to grow our pediatric department at OCH to better support families. Dr. Manning supports neonates to adults with both primary care and chronic care and also has physical medicine and pain management skills. We are excited to announce our newest resident naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist Dr. Bryan Stockton! We are so pumped to have Bryan as part of our team. We knew we wanted to work with him not just because of his many skillsets, but also his attunement to providing inclusive care. Dr. Bryan is off to a running start and you may see him join some visits through out his shadowing experience as part of his residency. He is also available for acute care needs to support existing patients in receiving same or next day appointments when in need. His schedule is open for new patients starting in the spring. Say hello to our new sensory room! A space open to all patients for a peaceful retreat to soothe the senses before or after appointments or even if just needing a space to be in a safe environment without an appointment. Featuring a weight inclusive rocking chair that feels like a soothing hug, a light box with Bluetooth and noise machine options to give you a star show, cozy blankets, fidget toys, a weighted stuffy and a sequin board. Thank you to our patients for teaching us what you need to support more diversity in nervous system needs. Ask the front desk team next time you are in if you’d like to use the space.

Welcome Dr. Brynn! Dr. Brynn is OCH's newest naturopathic doctor resident physician and we are so pumped to have her join our team. Dr. Brynn has been here two weeks and you may see her join in on some visits with our residency director team (Drs Lily Stokely, Michael Rak, Alison Hearst and Helen Kinsel). After two quick weeks we already can tell Brynn is a great fit and will be another awesome support for the patients at OCH. She will be available for new patient scheduling as well as acute visits starting in the new year. With residents support we are more often able to offer same or next day appointments when acute needs arise.

Happy birthday One Connection Healthcare. 6 Years ago this week, Lily Stokely was fiercely working to open the doors of what is now One Connection Healthcare. We had no idea what this business would become for one another and our patients. We continue to be in awe of the community around us. This year has been a year of streamlining our systems, settling in our new and loved space, and welcoming some incredible new providers and staff. We continue our learning as a team and with our patients, practicing, unlearning and relearning an anti-oppressive approach with a commitment to relational repair as part of our ongoing process when we inherently mess up (which we all do, thanks human-ness). We are humbled and grateful to do this work. The commitment of our team and the deep connections that continue to grow amongst the office staff and patient community is truly special. We are excited to welcome 3 new providers in the upcoming year so stay tuned for some upcoming announcements. Thank you for being here!

Another awesome human has joined our provider team. Welcome Dr. Lea McKinstry! Dr. McKinstry is a primary care provider, offering medical management of eating disorders who additionally specializes in hormone health, digestive health and thyroid disorders. She is joining us after several years at other local practices and a residency in Montana. Dr. Mckinstry brings a bright presence into the space and we couldn't be more excited to have her supporting folks at OCH.
