One of the first signs of strength loss is something most people call “being careful.”

You start using your hands to get up. Avoiding the floor. Carrying less. Reaching for support. Saying no to things that suddenly feel a little too risky.

Any one of these can be completely reasonable. But when “being careful” begins changing how you live, it may be a sign that your body no longer feels as dependable as it once did.

The goal isn’t to become less careful.

It’s to become more capable.
