Each month we make about 20 molds to replace the ones that are on the tables becoming leakers as we call them. Giving a shout out to Crucible down in Oakland, who taught us how to make them 20 years ago. ♥️

We don’t throw our neti pots on a wheel. That would take too long. Instead, we use liquid clay that we pour into plaster molds. The results are perfectly shaped neti pots every time.

The good news is when mistakes happen we can recycle the clay. That’s not possible once it’s been fired.

France’s law may need to be updated, but the truth is products like Afrin shouldn’t be used over 3 days because of the damaged that can be caused by oxymetazoline.

Cool things to know about your nose and sinuses:

They produce mucus to protect your lungs from viruses, bacteria and particles in the air.

They produce almost a liter of mucus a day - which you swallow.

The sinuses are air-filled spaces in the cheeks, the forehead, between the eyes and back part of the nose - for a total of 10.

80 percent of what you think is your sense of taste is really your sense of smell at work.

When you’re sick, mucus production can increase to two liters a day and may affect your appetite.

This batch came out greener than usual. That’s Inula graveolens. A Mediterranean plant whose essential oil is naturally a green, and it’s one of the six oils in this blend. Plant oils vary from harvest to harvest, so the color shifts a little from batch to batch.

Cleaning your neti pot is easy. Either put it into the dishwasher or wash it by hand. Don’t forget to give it a good cleaning if it’s been sitting in storage for a while.

I am sometimes left speechless. I understand errors happen but it’s been over a week only engaging with chat bots. This is NOT the world of human to human contact when we started. I miss that!
