Nina found this work while searching for her own healing. She never stopped refining it.

What keeps her teaching is simple. She watched what these techniques did for her body, and she wants every therapist in the room to be able to give that to someone else.

There is never just one thing causing a person's pain. It is usually a stack of small adaptations the body made over years. Chase the symptom and it moves. Find the pattern and it changes. That is what she teaches.

If you teach or practice bodywork, what first pulled you into this field? We would love to hear it.

Advanced cranial-sacral work goes past the basics into dural, osseous, and sutural releases. It is the layer that changes how you meet a client's headache, their old injuries, and the tension they have carried for years.

Watching experienced therapists add these tools to what they already do never gets old.

Practitioners, what is one technique you wish you had learned earlier in your career? Tell us below.

Feeling the craniosacral rhythm under your hands for the first time is hard to describe until you feel it. Once you do, you cannot unfeel it.

It is where every cranial-sacral journey begins, and it opens the door to everything that comes after.

Our next class builds on exactly that: Introduction to The Electrical and Energetic Brain to Body Connection, September 19 and 20 in Sedona.

If you work with the body, what first made the subtle work real for you? Share below. Registration link is in the first comment.

Over the past few weeks we ran two classes: an Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy, and an Advanced Cranial-Sacral group in the Village of Oak Creek.

Thank you to everyone who came out. Good groups in both rooms, and a lot of solid hands-on work.

Coming in September
One class is left this year. Introduction to The Electrical and Energetic Brain to Body Connection runs September 19 and 20 in Sedona.

It goes past the bones and the fluid into the electrical signals the brain sends through the body, and it builds directly on the cranial work. Seats are still open.

A $50 deposit holds your spot.

Summer is a good time to add a skill your clients can feel.

This July, Nina Joy Rizzo is teaching two hands-on CE classes in the Sedona area. One is built for therapists who are new to cranial work. The other goes deep for those ready for more. Both earn you NCBTMB CE credits, and both are the kind of training you learn with your hands, not from a slideshow.

Here is what is coming up.

Introduction to Cranial Sacral Therapy
July 10 to 12, 2026
Sedona School of Massage, 8:00am to 5:00pm MST
24 NCBTMB CE credits
$495, or $450 for SSM alumni
Reserve your spot for $50

You will learn the basics of the craniosacral system, how the fluid is made, and how to feel the craniosacral rhythm with your own hands. Plenty of hands-on lab time, so the work lives in your body and not just your notes.

Advanced Cranial-Sacral Dural, Osseous and Sutural Releases
July 17 to 19, 2026
Village of Oak Creek, 8:00am to 5:00pm MST
24 AZ State and 24 NCBTMB CE credits
$495
Reserve your spot with a $100 deposit

This one is for the therapist ready to go deeper. You will work directly with the cranial bones, the sutures that connect them, and the dura, along with the diaphragms that help the body balance the changes you create.

Nina teaches the way she works, by listening with her hands and addressing the cause of a pattern instead of chasing the symptom. You will walk out with skill you can use on your very next client.
A small deposit holds your place.
