🎉 RHMPI Awarded $660,527 to Expand School-Based Behavioral Health Services Across West Alabama!

We’re proud to announce that Rural Health Medical Program, Inc. (RHMPI) has been awarded $660,527 through Alabama’s new rural healthcare program to establish school-based behavioral health services across six West Alabama counties: Clarke, Dallas, Marengo, Monroe, Perry, and Wilcox.

This investment will help expand access to mental health care for students in rural communities, bringing vital behavioral health resources closer to where children learn, grow, and thrive. 💙

At RHMPI, we believe that access to quality healthcare should not depend on where you live. This award represents another important step toward strengthening rural healthcare and supporting the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

(RHMPI), a Federally Qualified Health Center serving rural and medically underserved communities throughout Alabama’s Black Belt, is pleased to announce the receipt of $1,015,000 in federal funding to support a comprehensive renovation and modernization of the RHMPI Uniontown Health Center location in Perry County.
