Tuesday night with FS8 Severna Park x Melanie Erb Shushan, ACNP-BC, Owner of Annapolis Aesthetics Aesthetics was such a vibe: Pilates, skincare, Vitamin B shots, Hydrinity samples, a little shopping, bubbles, some seriously good giveaways…and a LOT of laughs.

You should know more about your injector than how many followers they have on Instagram.

I recently pulled out some of the training materials I’ve kept since I first began injecting more than 20 years ago, and it reminded me how much this industry has changed.

Social media has made it easier than ever for someone to look like an expert. But a beautiful feed, a large following, and bio full of keywords don’t tell you how someone was trained or how much experience they actually have injecting.

Before you trust someone with your face, ask questions.

-How long have you been injecting?
-What training have you completed?
-What are you injecting, where are you placing it, and why is that the right choice for me?

A qualified, experienced injector should be comfortable answering all three.
