We wanted to share that Dr. Dana will return home to his wife and children tomorrow. While he remains on medical leave to continue his healing please remember to honor privacy and and continued prayers for the family.

Dr. Dana was admitted to the hospital and is out on unexpected medical leave for an unknown amount of time. This is to help Lacie and the kids with the difficult situation as they support Dana.

Finally, a simple explanation for why your child melts down over what feels like "nothing." 🙌 For some kids with neurological challenges, their brain and nervous system get stuck in “overdrive.” Things that don’t bother most people can feel really hard for them. A tag that feels like sandpaper. A birthday party that feels like total chaos. Constant crashing, jumping, and moving are signs they're seeking sensory input to try and calm down.
When their brain isn’t getting clear messages, it shows up as:
😣 Big meltdowns and outbursts
😣 Trouble sitting still or focusing
😣 Struggles with clothing, food, or sounds
😣 Difficulty calming themselves down

An important update from New Hope Chiropractic:

Dr. Ashley is fully trained, experienced, and ready to continue serving patients at full capacity and normal business will resume Wednesday 8/5.. Dr. Dana will remain on an extended leave until further notice.

While this news may come as unexpected, please know that New Hope Chiropractic has never been about one provider—it has always been about serving the community with excellence. Dr. Ashley, together with the Lee’s Summit doctors, Dr. Shianne and Dr. Tina, and the incredible team, will continue doing what they do best: providing hope, answers, and exceptional chiropractic care to every patient who walks through the doors.

The team’s commitment to patients remains unchanged, and patients can expect the same compassionate, high-quality care they have always received. While the team is adapting schedules and needs for Dr.Ashley to serve as the sole provider please offer grace, flexibility, and understanding during this transition.

This is an incredibly difficult season for the Huebner family, who kindly ask that their privacy be respected as they navigate this time together. Prayers, grace, and understanding are deeply appreciated.

Have you ever picked up your baby and noticed they feel unusually stiff or tense? Maybe they always look one direction, arch their back often, or seem like they just can't fully relax?
That is where this little dude was before starting care. Through consistent chiropractic care his Mom now reports that his little body is no longer tense, that he is sleeping better, and better mobility!

Dr. Dana is out on unexpected medical leave. We are rescheduling all patients as a result of this. The Shawnee office will be closed Monday and Tuesday for sure. We will be reaching out to each patient personally to reschedule. Thank you for your patience and your prayers.
