Jolene Telesco is a certified Pilates instructor, certified personal trainer, orthopedic movement specialist, certified running coach, and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience helping clients build strength, improve movement, and develop lifelong wellness habits. She originally completed her Pilates training through Merrithew's STOTT Pilates system and has continued to expand her education through additional certification programs, and clinical setting education.
In addition to her Bachelor's and Master degrees Jolene holds professional certifications through NASM, ACE, ISSA, and ASFA, and has completed extensive collegiate-level coursework in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and human movement sciences. This combination of formal education and practical experience allows her to bridge the gap between exercise, movement quality, and long-term wellness.
Her teaching style emphasizes proper technique, body awareness, and progressive development, helping clients move with greater confidence, control, and efficiency. She combines her deep understanding of the human body with a personalized coaching approach to create programs that are both safe and effective for a wide range of clients and fitness levels.
As co-owner of Fitness & Pilates in Shelton, Connecticut, Jolene is passionate about making Pilates accessible and effective for people of all ages and abilities. Whether working with beginners, athletes, or clients returning from injury, she is committed to providing expert instruction, individualized attention, and a supportive environment where clients can achieve lasting results.
